What We Do

We support institutional capacity building for our member co-management Associations to enhance inclusive governance, conserve natural resources, and promote community livelihoods and landscape resilience.

THEMATIC AREAS

Governance Capacity

Building strong, inclusive, and accountable governance systems within member associations. This ensures women, youth, and marginalized groups actively participate in co-management and decision-making processes.

Conservation

Supporting integrated landscape management across core environment sectors: land, water, wildlife, forestry, fisheries, and agriculture. Activities include environmental education, reforestation, and co-management of parks, reserves, and buffer zones.

Livelihoods

Investing in people as a smart conservation strategy. This promotes sustainable livelihoods that reduce pressure on protected areas, improve community resilience, and boost food and income security.

Partnerships & Collaboration

Working closely with government agencies (DNPW, Forestry, Fisheries) and development partners (donors) for policy alignment and technical expertise. We also engage in global advocacy through international networks.
